If the chosen institution is satisfied that the foreign applicant has met its regulatory requirements of admissions and has met with all foreign student requirements, it will send the foreign applicant a Certificate of Eligibility. This document is acknowledged by U.S. Consulates as verification of eligibility to enter the United States for a program of study and for issuing a student visa.
