EIDE-Higher Studies in Hospitality Management

Capacity, Experience and Quality
EIDE is a private institution whose goal is to promote and develop all kind of Language Courses as well as Higher Vocational Qualifications in Hotel Management, Catering and Tourism. EIDE has trained more than 14,000 students since its foundation in 1976. Higher Studies in Hospitality Management
This course is aimed at those who wish to become professionals in the hospitality industry, who have a communicative profile and are fond of working with people, travelling and learning new cultures. Students receive a complete education in 2 academic years, which allows them to enter the labour market inmediately. Those students, who have completed this degree and wish to continue studying, can also enter University directly.
The general competence of this degree is to organize and control tourist lodging establishments and at the same time apply established company policies, control the objectives of different departments, control sales activities and economic results of the tourist establishment, provide lodging services and ensure customer satisfaction.

Diploma:"Higher Technician in Hotel Management". Official Diploma issued by the Department of Education of the Basque Country and validated by the SPANISH MINISTRY OF EDUCATION.

Internship in Hotels 22 ECTS

Admission Requirements
Students are required to have the Spanish "Bachillerato" or the equivalent secondary/ high school certificate in their country.

Lodging Assistant Manager in tourism-related businesses, Reception Manager, Booking Assistant Manager, Booking Manager, Quality Manager, Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Assistant Manager, Lodging Manager in old people’s home and residences, hospitals and similar, Lodging Manager in rural accommodation, Events Manager, Sales Manager in tourism-related businesses.

Credits – ECTS European Credit Transfer System
Students graduating in the Higher Studies in Hospitality Management are eligible for credit transfer (maximum 120 ECTS) for the following degrees: Business Administration, Economics or Tourism. (RD 1686/2007 de 14 Dic. BOE 15/01/08).
